Two bodies together,
moving to the beat.
They gyrate closer,
and closer.
It becomes too much.
Together they slip away from the noise,
and the madness.
Holding hands,
searching for somewhere isolated.

First petals of rose,
The glistening pearls in molded shells
The tired limbs and powerless mold
The twinkling sound of bells

Darkness in the tunnel was blinding
Yet no sign of the light,
Silence in the tunnel was deafening,
Yet she had the might.
Searching amidst the broken pieces around her,
Making her way down the long passage,
There were torn litters she had to gather,
Yet, no light or message.
All she carried along the way
Where heartfelt wishes and prayers,
But she knew what ahead would lay,
She would find the light through the layers.
